LOFTY SPOT: WHAT WE CARRY
What We Carry is a solo exhibition with Lofty Spot which explores themes of duality, how experience transforms us while the rituals we return to each day steady and define us. The interview is an exploration of research, reference, fears and also conversation that led to the exhibition. Many thanks to Tireni Adeniji for the beautiful interview questions.
ÉHI: MY SPIRITUAL GUARDIAN
A short film shot and directed by Peter Ajuchi on my creative practice.
This project has been deeply personal, emotional, and spiritually transformative for me. It pushed me to confront long-held fears through making, learning, and staying open-minded. In the process, I’ve discovered a lot about myself, particularly how I navigate challenges.
WAY OF LIFE - Reclaims
Sharing or enjoying food and drink can be an intimate and emotive experience, fostering a sense of belonging or connection to people and places. As ceramicists, we have the opportunity to heighten these experiences through materiality, comfort, ritual and playfulness. Your challenge is to find inspiration within The Sessile, it’s local area or the Way of Life company ethos and to design and make fired, finished and functional ceramic table- top objects to be used in this space and to be showcased in a celebratory event.
